What do the girls do while the men are hunting?
Peanut just loves having twiner toes with mommy and has to show everyone the 'apples' (her word for flowers) on her pretty painted toes.

Yummy Recipes
Luke got this delicious recipe from his boss's wife and then made it for us for dinner one night and they're really good so I thought I'd share. I also wanted to have these recipes recorded somewhere since my recipe box is hidden somewhere in storage. :)
Chicken Bundles
2 Ck Breasts cooked and shredded/cubed (about 2 1/2 to 3 cups)
6 oz cream cheese softened
1 tsp (or to taste lemon pepper) You can cook the chicken with the lemon pepper on it, or you can add it in the mixture (we added to the mixture and probably used a lot more than 1 tsp)
1 can sliced water chestnuts (optional - we didn't include these)
2 packages of crescent rolls
croutons - your favorite kind
Mix ck, cream cheese, lemon pepper, water chestnuts. Unroll crescent rolls, put some mixture on the dough and roll up like you normally would - you may need to pinch sides of dough to keep the mixture in (Luke didn't do it this way. He just pulled all sides of the rolls up and pinched it all closed so they were ball shaped). Crush the croutons and roll the roll in the croutons. Put on baking sheet and bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Should make 16 chicken bundles but depends on how full you stuff the rolls.
Gravy
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 - 3/4 can milk
Heat and pour over the top of baked rolls. Yummy, yummy!
This next recipe is from my cousin. I grew up having homemade Orange Julius with popcorn almost every Sunday evening. It was a favorite! I did have my mom's recipe but once again - storage! This one is just as yummy though and has been a major pregnancy craving!
Orange Julius
1/2 can of frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 c sugar
3/4 c milk
1 c water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c ice
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.

Peanut Update
(Peanut in her first-for-the-season, still-to-big, winter outfit)She's been doing really well. We're now going 3 months between doctor visits and labs are only once a month unless something comes up. It's been super nice. We're getting closer to getting her off prednisone which really excites me. And her Prograf dosage was once again reduced! Yeah for a little bit more immune system! Haha. Right now we're in the process of switching blood pressure meds which is a little annoying but nothing compared to what I've had to deal with in the past! And she, surprisingly, does really well at holding still for the blood pressure checks. I have been noticing a lot more lately what a little angel I am raising and can't complain about the occasional tantrums.
The only concerns in her care right now are:
1. If she'll make any more vessels to bypass her clotted portal vein (if not, she'll eventually have to have a shunt placed).
2. Preventing the flu and other fun winter season illnesses. And as always
3. Watching for, and hopefully avoiding, any liver rejection.
I'm just so glad to have her with us and doing so well! She is just so much fun!
Some of her favorites right now:
1. The color purple. If you ask her what color something is she'll almost always say purple even though she knows other colors.
2. Dora the Explorer. She finally got over her Elmo obsession and moved on to Dora. Oh joy! Haha
3. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Although, she has been choosing to watch Dora over 'Pizza' lately, much to her dad's dismay.
4. Juice boxes. This includes Capri Sun. Pretty much anything she can drink from a tiny straw but mostly apple juice.
5. Treats and snacks. Of course she had to get her mother's sweet tooth!
6. Bahka. I can't leave Grandma off the list because of the major tantrums Peanut would throw when it was Mason's turn to have Grandma ride with him.
7. 'Wee's' This is what she calls slides, swings, and pretty much playgrounds of any kind. She loves them and would play at them all day if I let her. There is usually bribery of some sort to get her to leave.
8. Going. Anywhere. She just likes to be on the move and out and about seeing different people and different things.

Bye Bye Binkie
I finally got enough guts and determination to kick Peanut's binkie habit. She was only using one at nap time and bed time but I decided I was NOT going to have two 'babies' with binkies so it was time to get rid of Peanut's.
It was a process that spanned about five days followed with about two days/night of rough nap and bed times. But we did it! I hid all the other 20 some odd binkies and started by clipping one of three that she knew she had. It was now 'brokes' to her but she still had to have it with her in bed. After two days I clipped that one further and clipped one more. So she now had two 'brokes' binkies. Took me a little longer to get the guts to clip the third one so after a few days of one good binkie and two broken ones I clipped the last one. Now all the binkies were 'brokes.' When they were all broken Peanut went on to ask for 'anewnew' (another one) but I explained to her that she only had three and we counted them. I then convinced her that since they were all broken to throw them away. So we took the broken binkies to the garbage and she threw them in while saying 'Buhbye Binkie!'
After two days of crying for a binkie when she went to bed and me reminding her that they were broken and in the garbage, she stopped asking for one. Success!

I Poop. I Toot.
We really haven't tried potty training and we don't push the issue at all because I know Peanut's far from really being ready. Plus I hate to try and do that to her when she's still on lasix and peeing a ton through the night. Not to mention the chance of regression after the big move and the baby comes. So we'll hold off on that for a while.
However, while we were in St. George, her cousin Mason showed her how fun it is to sit on the potty and read books. So they would go in the bathroom and take turns sitting and reading.
This pic is my favorite of Mason coming to check out what was going on in Grandma's living room! Haha. And for some reason Peanut thinks she has to be completely naked to sit on the potty! That habit will for sure be the first to be kicked before any intense potty training takes place!
While at Grandma's with Mason's potty, Peanut did actually poop in the potty! It was about the size of a dime but hey it was something! Sorry we didn't get a picture of the goods though.

Snipity Snip Snip
Peanut's third hair cutPeanut's hair is just crazy. Crazy curls. Crazy cowlick. Crazy 'duck butt.' I just don't know what to do with it. We just got it trimmed up a little because it was getting a little straggly but it's still just crazy and no matter how I do it she always ends up looking like a little homeless child. It's sad. I really do try and make my daughter look somewhat cute I promise!
Cabin Time
I will admit. The family cabin is not my most favorite place anymore. I'm not as country as the rest of my family. However, I guess it is nice to get away from everything once in awhile. Last time we spent any time at the cabin Peanut wasn't quite mobile yet and she had a major allergic reaction so I was a little weary going there again. But this time there were no allergy outbreaks and she actually did really well at keeping herself entertained.
She wanted to feed the 'ney ney' so we bundled up and went out to feed him only to have Peanut freak out and come crying to mommy so daddy had to do it for her...
Peanut really enjoyed trying on hats with Auntie Krystal (the bright orange hunting one was by far her favorite) and I also thought I'd show a pic and brag a little at how well she takes her meds (most of the time anyways).
This was the first and the last time Peanut has ever worn these beloved Dora jammies because they are now lost :( The other pair she has can't ever stay clean. She'll even insist on putting them on during the day! So I was excited for a second pair. Now she'll outgrow them before we even have a second chance at wearing them!
