Tribute to my two favorite people...

Luke and Peanut getting ready to go home from the hospital . . .

I knew before I ever even married him that Luke was going to be a great dad, I just never could have imagined how great! He has been the best! He is ALWAYS so willing to help out in any way that he can. He changes the messy diapers all on his own!-I've been so proud at how well he's been doing at that cause it was a little shaky in the beginning! He helps out even in the middle of the night when he has to work early in the morning! He massages my sore muscles almost every night! He can make Peanut smile and laugh better than any one else! He works so hard to be able to provide for us! He is so positive through EVERYTHING and has such a strong testimony! His faith is so strong and has helped me so much when mine has wavered. I know that Peanut loves her daddy very very much because she smiles when she first sees him come home from work. I could probably go on and on but to just sum things up...He is the GREATEST!

Wagon ride at the hospital . . .

Dancing around the kitchen . . .

And the little peanut! Oh how much I love my little peanut! She has been the best daughter! Not like I have much to compare her to but still! She has been through SO much! And is SO tough! She is the most content little thing I've ever seen! She is really good at playing with herself and letting me do the dishes or other things around the house. She has the biggest smiles! Even after they tie her down and poke a needle in her belly! She has such a strong spirit about her and in her own little way has helped me get through all this. I love it when she smiles at me! She just melts my heart! I am SO blessed to have her in my life!

Kisses from daddy . . .

Cuddle time . . .

Peanut loves to suck on wash clothes in the bath tub!
Daddy decided to see what it's all about . . .I love you guys!!!!

Sunday could be the day!

As of yesterday, I officially passed all the liver donor tests. They feel that I am a very good match, am perfectly healthy, and should heal quickly. So the transplant is tentatively set for Sunday.

However, we received some news last night...Peanut wasn't status one after all. I think there was just some miscommunication. She was moved pretty high on the list but all this time that we thought she was status one she wasn't. BUT, she is now! So everyone's going to regroup on Friday and see if we should still go to surgery on Sunday or wait a few more days to see if she gets another offer.

Hide 'n' Seek

I love this picture!
I left her playing downstairs on her blankets for a few minutes a couple of weeks ago and this is what I came back to.

From the life of us all . . .

I've been giving Luke a hard time because the lukelarsen.com blog says "From the life of Luke Larsen." Not "Luke and MaKayle." I'd also been complaining about the fact that it's extremely difficult for me to add pictures or anything else besides text. So what do we get . . . LUKE, MAKAYLE, AND A LITTLE PEANUT! a.k.a The life of ALL of us! When I brought up the idea of changing our blog to blogspot or something else, Luke said that it was fine and that he'd make posts. However, I really believe that this will end up being my blog and lukelarsen.com will be his blog to post all his random designer stuff. But only time will tell if Luke will indeed use this blog to make any posts. In the meantime...I can finally post pictures all on my own! So beware!
