Bath Time

Baby A's first bath in the new house

Our little bath time helper...
Peanut always has to be right there to help with baby A's baths. She has to clean her tummy, wash her hair, and drain the water from the her blue bath tub.

Pea really is a great big sister. It was a little shaky in the beginning but I think she's gotten used to it and now she always let's us know when baby A is crying or making noise, or when she's awake or sleeping, and she always makes sure she has a binkie wherever she is or if she finds one around the house somewhere she immediately has to take it to baby A. So sometimes I'll leave baby A in her bouncer and come back to find her covered in binkies! (We gathered a lot of soothie binkies during all our hospital stays with Peanut so we have a bazillion!)

LOVE cute little baby bums!

Grandma's Visit

Grandma was sick when baby A was born so she painstakingly postponed her visit to met her until we moved into the new house so she could help out while we settled in. (We were able to make our house livable and clear out a good number of boxes while she was here!) Thanks Grandma!
Peanut just loves her Grandma! Maybe it's cause she always brings treats and presents when she comes to visit! ;)
This new outfit she brought is now one of my favorites to dress Peanut in and this Minnie doll is now one of the must haves when going to bed. Peanut's bed is always overflowing with toys, books, and stuffed animals when she goes to bed. And it seems that we add a new blanket to the mix almost every month. It started with her Dora blank. Since then she's added the 'blue blank,' the 'pizza blank' (her daddy's old ninja turtle blanket), and the 'ball blank' (some random soccer ball blanket we had that was discovered by Peanut when I was unloading the house decorations it was wrapped around.) She has to be tucked in with all of them every night and she even had to take all four for a sleepover at my sister's house last week. Along with the blankets and Minnie doll the other things that usually find their way to her bed every night is her yellow care bear (that was mine when I was little), her dora doll, her stuffed puppy dog, her baby dolls, her figurines (They pretty much get carried with her all throughout the house all day everyday! They even have bath tub status!) and lately her little people ferris wheel that plays music. It's pretty cute and funny but annoying at the same time because she has to have them all placed in her bed just right before she'll lay down.

Here's a picture of Peanut sleeping under all her blankets (this is before the 'ball blank' was added and somehow she took a nap this day without all her toys!) The blankets always end up looking something like this...
with her little feet poking out.

Baby A Burrito

She just looked so cute and tiny in this big play pen so I had to take a pic.
I'll have to take some more pictures like this to compare her size to since she's ALOT bigger now! I forget how FAST babies grow!

During all my last doctor check ups my doc was predicting that this baby would probably weigh 6 lbs 8 oz. Well she was born 2 1/2 weeks early and weighed 5 lbs 14 oz. However, we had her two week doctor appointment on my due date and guess how much she weighed! Yup, 6 lbs 8 oz! I thought that was pretty cool!
