Elmo

Peanut's latest obsession has been Elmo. She loves watching him on TV, reading books about him (especially the book with both Elmo AND bubbles!) and will even pick out Elmo shirts/etc. at the store.

A few weeks ago, Peanut received these Elmo slippers in the mail from Grandma Rose. We were just going to get the mail, drop it off inside the house and then go to the grocery store.
Well, we were both curious as to what was in the package and had to open it! Peanut was so excited and liked them sooo much she wouldn't leave the house without 'em! Thanks Grandma!
Oh, and about the outfit. Every once in awhile we let Peanut pick out what she wants to wear for the day (usually the days I know we're not going anywhere) and almost always she will choose this green shirt. I'm not really sure why but for some reason it's what she wants to wear. Maybe it's cause it was hand embroidered in a jail in Mexico? I actually think it was supposed to be a dress for when she was little. Oh well!

A Cat Says "Ow"

Here's a cute video of Peanut to celebrate the one year anniversary since her liver transplant! Yea! We made it a year!

We've been wanting to get this on video for quite some time but whenever the camera comes out Peanut just wants to play with it. So I decided to try it while she was distracted. I love how lazy her animal sounds are. It's too cute!

Play With Me Mama

One day, Peanut decided that she wanted to share ALL her toys with me.

I'm so glad that she likes to share!

Great-Grandma

Yesterday we had some time between the blood draw and the doctor's appointment so we decided to go visit Great-Grandma and Grandpa. Peanut loved it! Grandma had some books to read, some fun legos to play with, and of course some swedish fish to eat!

She also helped Grandma get her exercise in for the day by pulling her all around the house while wearing my shoes. (I think she did this because she didn't want to leave and if I didn't have any shoes to put on then we couldn't leave. haha)

Up and Down

This was the new game that Auntie Krystal invented. She'd say up and they'd climb up. She'd say down and they'd climb down. And then of course they had to clap for doing such a good job!

They weren't too good at doing it simultaneously. But sure enjoyed themselves!

It was too cute!

We love going home so that Peanut has someone to play with! So fun!

Cousin Spike's Birthday

Peanut's cousin turned one! And we were able to be there to enjoy the celebration!

Peanut really enjoyed helping him open his presents! And wanted to take everything home for herself!

She especially loved the Sesame Street wrapping paper and had to point out all her favorite friends!

It was a lot of fun! And Mason is just the cutest little guy ever!
