Breaking Dawn
So I started reading Eclipse again yesterday to "refresh" my memory and get me ready for Breaking Dawn. And it has just made me superly duperly excited for Breaking Dawn to come out. But me, being the penny pincher I am, pre-ordered my book on Amazon because it was like $10 cheaper then buying it in the stores on the release date. However, it doesn't ship 'til like Tuesday or something!!! Ask me how bummed I am! Way bummed! At first I didn't really mind. I'd figured it'd give me more time to finish re-reading Eclipse but I'm already half way through it and will most likely finish by Saturday so then I'll just be waiting (non-patiently I'm sure) while everyone around me reads the book and talks about what happens in it. I think I'll just have to hide and not go out or get on the internet until my copy comes and I can read it. I don't know how many of you out there have been reading the quote of the day on Stephenie's website but yesterday's just got me even more stoked! Carlisle: "I've seen vampire venom work miracles, but there are conditions that even venom cannot overcome." Doesn't it just get your mind spinning! I've already had my ideas of what's going to happen in Breaking Dawn and some of the quotes (i.e. Tanya: "Ah, Edward. I've missed you.") make me wonder if I'll be somewhat accurate. I'm just way excited and super bummed that I have to wait longer than necessary. But I brought it upon myself with my practicality! So I guess I can't complain. Okay, I'm done.

Going Home
It was a fun trip I was extremely glad to be home Monday morning. The house was nice and cool and the bed was super comfy! We had fun and it was great to see everyone but it was super stressful with Peanut and trying to keep her germ free and hydrated!
On our way out of town we stopped at my parents to see them one last time and drop off the pack and play they lent us. We also got to see Kody's family and got a picture of Peanut and Bitner to compare. It's fun to see how much they've changed in a year!
I drove the whole way home so that Peanut and Daddy could play.
And sleep.
We stopped and spent Sunday night with Luke's Aunt and Uncle and then headed to the hospital bright and early Monday morning to get Peanut's blood drawn. Now we're home and back to doing laundry and dishes and cleaning and grocery shopping and etc.
On our way out of town we stopped at my parents to see them one last time and drop off the pack and play they lent us. We also got to see Kody's family and got a picture of Peanut and Bitner to compare. It's fun to see how much they've changed in a year!

Grandma Rozzie's
First I just have to comment on the title of this post. We were having a discussion in our Marriage and Family Relations class one Sunday and it came up that when you talk about going to the grandparents house it's always "Grandma's" and not "Grandpa's" house. It don't know about the rest of you but this is SO true in my family. Hence the post title.
For Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa bought a Wii. It was a luring tactic and a very good one at that. We were privileged enough to have it our house for about a month and are very sad to see it go. Even Peanut loves it!
She especially loved playing MarioKart with Uncle Matt's game cube controllers. The yellow button was her favorite which made her pretty good at Smash Brothers.
We pretty much played the Wii the whole time we were there and Luke and Matt finally unlocked the player I wanted - Dry Bowser! We did get a game of Settlers in which was fun and of course we took a break to celebrate Grandpa Dave's birthday.
Peanut liked helping him open his presents but didn't get too far before she was more interested in what came out of the wrapping.
It was fun to spend time at Grandma Rozzie's, even if I just about died from the heat! It was especially great to see Mick and Lindsay and we wish that they'd move back up here to keep us company! We'll let you know when the brown house is for sale again!

Cousin Mason
We were so excited to finally meet Peanut's only cousin on Daddy's side. 
He is the cutest little guy ever and we're glad that Peanut will have someone to play with when we get together with that side of the family.

The Cabin
We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the cabin this trip because all the excitement was in town. But we did head up there Friday morning before going to Luke's parent's for the weekend.
Peanut loved meeting Tux but wasn't too sure about getting to close or touching him. She was more content just looking at him.
In the short few hours we were there Peanut got terrible allergies (which is the main reason why we cut our visit there short).
She's not crying in this picture. Her eyes were just super watery and her nose was just gushing! The poor thing! Seems that she has Mommy's allergies but maybe worse!
The scenery is always enjoyable but were glad we missed the breakage of the water pump which lead to a true camping experience for my family!

24th of July Parade
Peanut really enjoyed the parade. She was just wide-eyed and curious the whole time. She tried really hard to go join the fun.
But, after she got a sucker, she was also very content just watching.
The parade in Panguitch is a classic for me because I've been going to it pretty much every year since I was little. It brought back a TON of memories!
The float in the background of the above picture is the famous Rootbeer "Float." It's there every year! Which is good 'cause who doesn't enjoy homemade rootbeer? Especially on a hot summer day!
Darth Vader and the Bounty Hunter were a huge hit with our big group of little boys. And big boys, I should say. I didn't get a picture with Luke in it but if you look closely you can see him running over to join the fun.
Grandpa hung back in the shade during the parade and after awhile, since Peanut wouldn't keep her hat on, we took her to join him.
It was my mom's class's reunion this year, so to keep with tradition they had a float in the parade. My mom tried to get out of riding in it but as soon as they were driving by and saw her sitting on the sidelines it was all over.
Peanut really had a blast and I can't wait until next year when she can actually go get the candy herself!

Our Trip Part One
The first part of the trip was just Peanut and I. We went to St. George and stayed with my parents for a couple of days. It was actually pretty relaxing and really nice to have someone else around 24/7 to help out with Peanut.
On Monday, we just hung out at my mom's house and "took the day off." We went to TwentyFive Main for dinner and I was actually pretty disappointed. Maybe I had just heard too many good things about it that my expectations were too high. I mean, it was good but just not THAT good. Peanut liked it though. She LOVED the chicken that came on my mom's salad and almost ate all of it herself! She also enjoyed the cupcakes, which weren't that good to me.
On Tuesday, I got to go to lunch with Michelle, my best friend of 23 years, WITHOUT Peanut. It was so nice! And the Pasta Factory was as good as ever! I didn't take a picture of us but we have this one on our computer from our wedding video that I thought I'd share. It's one of my favorite pictures of us. My sister, Mindi, had dressed us up in blankets! Haha
On Wednesday, Peanut entertained herself while we got ready to go to Panguitch.

Two Saturdays ago we went to my cousin's little girl's 1st birthday party. It was fun to see and spend time with some family and to see how much these two girls have changed in the last year.
